Damavand is a beautiful county located in Tehran Province, Iran. The county has five cities including Damavand, Rudehen, Abali, Kilan, and Absard. Damavand is also located in the southern part of Alborz Mountains. It is 1850 meters above the sea level and has a total area of 50 square kilometers.
Mount Damavand is the most important feature of this area. Mount Damavand with 5670 meter high is the highest point in the Middle East and the highest volcano in Asia.
