Australia 108 apartment complex is set to be the tallest residential building in the southern hemisphere. This residential building has about 318 m height with the full 101 levels. A penthouse spread across the 100th floor will be the "tallest" home in the southern hemisphere. The Fender Katsalidis-designed building pays homage to the Australian Flag with a golden rotating protrusion two-thirds of the way up the building, along with resident amenities including a private dining area, infinity pool, gym, deluxe movie theatre and virtual golf simulator. These exclusive apartments are found above Melbourne and offer a luxury lifestyle never experienced before. The interior design builds on the feminine curves of the architecture. Envisioned as a ‘queen,’ the building shimmers with an appropriately majestic color palette – a luxurious hotel-style scheme with an understated materiality of rich natural textures. The construction process started in 2015 and is scheduled to be completed in 2020.
