The 2020 version of the Roadster was shown in a surprise moment at the end of the Tesla Semi event on November 16, 2017. It has been a while since we have seen the working prototype of the next-gen Tesla Roadster, but it has now made a rare appearance.
Tesla Roadster is essentially a sequel to its very first vehicle but with amped-up promises for speed and performance, and a $200,000 price tag.
Tesla’s promised performance numbers would be truly impressive: From 0 to 60 mph in 1.9 seconds. Going a quarter-mile in 8.9 seconds. Top speed is above 250 mph. The 200 kilowatt-hour battery pack will give the car a 620-mile range.
