Open Sky Valbonne, France
“The Open Sky Valbonne” is a commercial and residential complex in France. Designed by Gianni Ranaulo, the goal of Open Sky is to bring a project that will have no equivalent in France.
The commercial complex will be built on an area of 100.000 m2, including 60.000 m2 for shops and 20.000 m2 for offices. In addition, a Hilton Hotel of 10.000 m2 and 5000 m2 of restaurants, 3000 m2 of conference rooms, all served by 2800 parking spaces over three levels.
In this open triangle, populated by wooded areas and a large central lake, the shops will be spread over two levels and the car parks will be entirely underground. Nature will once again be ubiquitous in the project, and restaurants will enjoy views of the central lake from their terraces.
The Open Sky Shopping Mall will also be home to short circuits food selling venue, reserved for local farmers to sell their products.
This large scale project is expected to open in 2020.
