NIGC COMPETITION is an international competition for designing the new headquarters of the National Iranian Gas Company in Tehran. The competition called for proposals for the central office building sitting on an area of 57,870.02 square meters. The project site is located at west of the Sayad Shirazi Highway in Tehran.
The proposed building should have included a central office building of the National Iranian Gas Company with 35-40 floors incorporating: offices and its supportive areas such as meeting rooms, conference halls, technical and operational spaces, management, restaurant and buffets, libraries and training centers, and etc.
Alongside the main building, the project should also include OGEC Convention Hall, a Gas museum - illustrating the process of achieving, refining and the way gas transmission and tutoring through virtual reality and same time experience, a Gas world trade center, Facilities, Sport Center, Temporary Hospitality for crisis and parking.
