7 Most Beautiful Beaches in Iran
1. Hormuz Island Beach
Hormuz Island is located in south of Iran. It has a mountain rich in red oxide soil, called “Gelack”, which is a valuable mineral for industrial purposes. The mountain being on the shoreline, makes the peculiarly red beach and red waves of the sea. The Red Beach is only one among Hormuz Island’s various rocky sand beaches with their mysterious sea caves. When we wander around, we will see different shades and hues of red, yellow, ochre, orange, green, white, brown & etc. This is why the island is also called the Rainbow Island of Iran.
2. Hengam Island Beaches
Hengam Island is located in the southern part of Qeshm Island, in south of Iran. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Persian Gulf in Hengam Island. The crystal clear water of this Island makes it easy to see wonderful and colorful fishes in the water. Besides, one of the most unique places that we can see in Hengam is Silver Beach. The sands of this beach are shining due to the existence of shiny minerals. It is worth to mention that at some particular times of the year, the water glows blue light at nights, due to the phytoplanktons living in the sands.
3. Darak Beach
The coastal village of ‘Darak’ can be found in the southernmost tip of Iran, on Mokran's shores, stretching along the Oman Sea. There are only a few beaches in the world where beach and desert meet. Darak Beach and the village are one of those places. The beach and the amazing village of Zarabad, is a destination where sand dunes, palm trees and blue sea in a frame together create fantastic scenery.
4. Chabahar Beach
Chabahar is a seaport on the Oman Sea in southeastern Iran. On the coast of the sea, particularly in the southern region of Chabahar is a rocky coastal area with a beautiful landscape, specially during sunset. The Oman Sea contains various minerals and a variety of water species, in particular algae and plankton. Chabahar is the glory of sunrise on the sea.

Sisangan is a beautiful county, located in north of Iran which has amazing forest beaches. At the same time, we can see the view of the sea, forest and mountains together, which is very rare in the world. Siangan has beautiful sandy beach with Algal rocks that gave it a different look.
7. Chamkhaleh Beach
Chamkhaleh is a green Small County located in Gilan, North of Iran. Its beach is one of the most beautiful and safest beaches of the country which was selected as the best beach of Gilan province by the Ministry of Interior in 2011. The best attractions of Chamkhaleh beach is the enormously beautiful sandy beach and chamkhaleh’s large river. This beautiful area is the closest beach to Langeroud and considered as one of the touristic attractions in Gilan province.
