Designed by the New York-based architect, Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, and Architects6, 18 Robinson is a sustainable retail and office tower in Singapore. The tower is located at the V-shaped intersection between Market Street and Robinson Road, with the upper floors offering views towards the marina. Two primary volumes separated by a lush garden, a hovering crystalline office tower and a retail podium, make up the principle building elements. The angled composition of the tower serves to increase access to natural light, mitigate direct views into adjacent towers, and reflect light to create a gem-like beacon for Singapore.
18 Robinson is a 28-storey integrated Grade-A office and retail development which comprises 7 storeys of elegant commercial space and 18 storeys of prime, high-ceiling office space extending elegantly above the cantilevered retail podium, separated by a picturesque open-air garden stretching from the 6th to the 8th storey. 18 Robinson offers publicly accessible green space that is equivalent to the site area. The landscaped podium and rooftop Sky Garden feature planted trees, natural ventilation, and views across the city.
18 Robinson Tower has won numerous awards such as Universal Design Mark GoldPLUS (Design) Award in 2018, Singapore Landscape Architecture Awards 2019 (Silver award), 2020 BCA Universal Design (UD) GoldPLUS Award, 2021 CTBUH – Award of Excellence for Best Tall Building (100-199 meters), 2021 CTBUH – Award of Excellence for Urban Habitat – Single Site Scale, 2021 BCA GreenMark – GoldPLUS Award and etc.
