Iguazu Falls, Brazil-Argentina

The Iguazu Falls, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world, originate from the Iguazu River, is located in the border between Brazil and Argentina. These waterfalls are within the Iguazu National Park, which is part of the largest remaining Atlantic Forest of southern Brazil with rich biodiversity in it. 
The Iguazu Falls extend a semicircular front of 2,700 meters long; 800 meters are on the Brazilian side and 1,900 meters on the Argentine side. They are composed of a variable number of falls ranging between 150 and 270 meters, according to the river water volume.
 

 

 

 

The exquisite Iguazu Falls are also known as the “Iguassu Falls” and the “Iguaçu Falls”, has a qualified structure for receiving tourists, with a visitors’ center, parking, hotel, restaurant, internal buses, additional sightseeing tours, shops, food court, and a hiking trail to access the falls.
Today, the Iguazu Falls are owned by the two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: “The Iguazu National Park” in Argentina and the “Iguaçu National Park” in Brazil.
